Agroforestry is het combineren van landbouw met bomen. Allerlei combinaties zijn mogelijk, bijvoorbeeld hoogstamfruit of walnoten met schapen, voederwilgen op een geitenbedrijf, een wilgenenergieplantage in een kippenuitloop of bomenrijen in graanakkers. In juni bezocht Ekoland de tweede European Agroforestry Conferentie in Cottbus in Duitsland.

Agroforestry combines agriculture with tree production. All kinds of combinations are possible: for example, fruit trees in sheep pastures, willows as fodder trees for goats, willows as bio-energy crop in outdoor chicken ranges, or walnut trees for timber in wheat fields. In June 2014, Ekoland visited the second European Agroforestry Conference in Cottbus, Germany.
