The Louis Bolk Institute in cooperation with Wageningen University, the University of Groningen, the University of Girona (Spain) and Scriptum conducted a nutritional intervention study with a Palaeolithic-type diet in people with characteristics of the metabolic syndrome. Two weeks on this diet improved several cardiovascular risk factors.
